All this time you were waiting for your holidays to begin. Once they start, you have no idea what to do. Before you know it, your holidays will come to an end, and so, you need to make the most of this time. Of course, there are regular things you can do like playing your favourite sport or watching television, but you wouldn’t be making the most of your vacations if you don’t do anything special. We’ve put together a list of things you can do so you can make the absolute most of the time you have.

Read!

Read!

Go to your closest library at the start of your holidays, and pick out all of your favourite books! Reading can help you relax, it will keep your mind occupied and transport you to a different world. What more? It can help improve your vocabulary and is a great habit to have. Here’s a fun challenge for you: Pick a series of books and try to finish reading all the books in that series by the end of your holidays!

Get creative!

The best way to spend your free time is by being creative. Sketching, painting, colouring and craftwork can be a great way to channel your creativity. You can even use your Classmate notebooks and colours to make some great Diwali drawings for your parents!

Pursue a new hobby!

With so much free time, you can learn so much! Learn something new during your holidays like a sport or an instrument. With all the spare time in your hands, you can fulfill your dream of learning something exciting by simply dedicating a few hours of your day to learn something you’ve always wanted to. If you love it, you can continue pursuing it even once school starts!

Put down your thoughts!

One of the best habits to have is to maintain a personal diary. Every night before going to bed, write down how you spent your day. Writing out all your thoughts is a great way to channel your emotions and record the things you did. Your Diwali celebrations will be with you forever!

Take a Classmate Pulse notebook, and start writing your thoughts down.

Finally, do something good. Help out at a local charity or even help your mom at home. It’s always a great feeling to put a smile on someone else’s face. Doing a good deed can be very simple. You can even help the environment by planting trees in your neighborhood or pick up the litter around your house.
